Parents!!!
This week is a fun filled crazy week in Kidz Connection!! We are starting a new series called "Faith Case Investigators." We are investigating the 16 fundamental truths of the Assemblies of God. This is an intense but very fun series that is going to dig into why we believe what we believe. This week we are talking about what the Bible is and why we need it.
The main point of the week is:
The Bible is God's word and His plan for me
This weeks memory verse is:
Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."
Remind your children that if they have their Bible they will earn 5$ in Linkage Loot, 1$ for knowing their memory verse when they get to the check in table and 10$ for themselves and their friend if they bring a friend to Kidz Connection.

Sleepover!!
Parents!!
This Friday night is the Kidz Connection sleepover! It is going to be a blast and a great place for your kids to be. We have games planned from 7pm -12 midnight. Boys will be sleeping downstairs in the sanctuary and the girls upstairs in Kidz Connection. They will be seeing "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs."
The Kidz Connection staff is so looking forward to this night very much and are so excited for you kids to be there!!
Don't forget to turn in a permission slip and money (5$ a child). If you can let Pastor Donovan or Pastor Sarah know ahead of time that would be great because they are going to be put on teams for all the games!!
If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask!!

Give your All ~ Talents
Hey!!
We are finishing up the GIVE YOUR ALL series about worship to God. We have had a blast going through this series with your children. Funny thing you should try... ask you kids if they are to a sack-a-rice!?! they should answer NO a sacrifice!! That was from the last Sunday in December and the start of this series.
This week to conclude we are talking about talents and how God had a plan for each of us. Sometimes that's not always easy to understand. Sometimes we think that we aren't good enough for God to use.
The memory verse for this week is Jeremiah 1:5 - Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Point #2 God has had this plan for a long time
Point #3 How can God use me??
Parents I would also like to remind you that the Kidz Connection Sleepover is Friday January 29-30. We are asking permission slips be turned in by this Sunday the 24th. It's going to awesome if you have any questions or concerns please ask.

Serve the Lord with all your heart and soul
Parents!!
These last couple of weeks going though the fast with the kids have been amazing. The kids have really touched Pastor Donovan and my heart with their faith and comprehension of the fast and what it's for.
This week we are talking about what it means to serve the Lord with all your heart and soul. We are talking about how easy it is to take advantage of God, expecting Him to provide and be there however we often forget to thank Him for all He does in our lives.
The points for this week are:
1. Always put God first
2. Don't take advantage of God
3. He is the King of Kings

The Rocks will Cry out!!
Hello everyone,
This week we are continuing in our series 'Give Your All' where we are learning all about worshippping God! In our first week we learned that we are not supposed to be a living sac-a-rice but a living sacrifice! This meaning we worship God by giving Him all of us and when we fight temptation how God helps us through! This past week we learned from the Psalmist that we are to shout for Joy because of who God is!
This week we are going to learn just what happens when we are not living sacrifices and we do not shout for Joy to the Lord! Jesus made it clear in Luke 19:40 That if we do not worship God then the rocks will cry out in our place!
The Major point for this week is:
1. If we are silent the rocks will cry out in our place!
The kidz are going to be challenged to know and learn what we can do to keep the rocks from crying out in our place!!
