It's Easter Sunday!!

Easter is one of the biggest church going holidays of the year. Let's join together in prayer for souls to be written in the Lamb's book of Life and a whole new beginning for so many people.

In Kidz Connection this week we are going to be talking about H.O.P.E. (Holding Our Place for Eternity) We are going to learn about how God has a plan for our life, and He sent His son to die to give us Hope through Him.

This is going to be a fun and exciting Sunday for your kids to bring thier friends and to learn of God's amazing love for us that goes beyond our wildest imagination.

The verse for this week is:

Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path"

Sanctification

This week in Kidz Connection we are learning about Sanctification. It's a big word with a wonderful meaning, to become more like Jesus as we get rid of sinful behavior and live to please God.

Where does sanctification start and what part do we play in it? Are two of the questions that are going to be answered this week. We will be learning about Peter and his walk with Jesus as a disciple. This is going to be a great week and we are looking forward to all that God has in store!!

The truth verse for this week is 1 Peter 15,16 "But just as he who called is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Hello Everyone,

This has been an amazing series and it continues to warm my heart to see your children worship the Lord and get into a quiet place just to pray and tell Jesus they love Him. We have been so blessed to see children healed in Kidz Connection and see them come to know God in a bold way! Thank you for all your support, teaching and prayers as the amazing parents that you are!

This week we are teaching on the baptism of the Holy Spirit!! We learned about the Holy Spirit last week and the different ways that He empowers our lives. This week we are putting some feet to that learning more about who He is, what He does and where He is. We are going to have some eyewitness guests in Kidz Connection this week that are going to keep your kids on their toes and hear the real live testimony of people in the Bible who were baptised in the Holy Spirit, as well as seeing Him at work!

The verse for this week is Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."

Communion Night

Hello Everyone,

We just wanted to remind you that this Friday Night March 12, 2010 @ 7pm. is Communion Night. We are inviting you, the parents and your families to come together with us and experience a Kidz Connection service as well as partake in communion with your children.

We, the Kidz Connection Staff are so very excited about this service and what is yet to come in Kidz Connection we can't wait! God is going to do something so amazing and He has already done an amazing work that is just mind-blowing. We serve a wonderful, powerful God!!

Communion

Parents,

This week in Faith Case Investigation we are investigating the truth about Communion. We are learning what these elements mean and why we really take communion. We are talking about the rememberace, and the humility of Jesus.

We are really looking forward to this Sunday! We are going to apply what we learn on Friday March 12 at 7pm. and we invite you to join us for a Kidz Connection service about communion and we are also going to partake in communion together that night as well.

This Sunday is going to be great fun as we have our special guest, Peter coming to share with us what he saw and experienced during the last supper!!
