Construction Zone

This week we are back to the road again still learning about the Highway of Life.

This week the sign that we are learning about is the Construction Zone sign. This sign represents God's work in our life and how we always need allow God to work in us.

The points for this week are:

#1 Choose to Build
#2 Hang Around Construction Zone People
#3 Set some goals
#4 Never stop Building

We are so excited about this coming week in Kidz Connection as the kids continue to grow spiritualy! We serve an awesome God who wants to work in thier lives!!

This Weeks power verse is: 1 Philippians 1:9 "I pray that... you will keep on growing..."

We are already into week number 4 of Life is a Highway! This week we are talking about the Merge sign and how we need to learn to work together with others to reach the common goal of winning souls for Christ.

We are focusing on working together but also not deciding that someone can't be worked with because of their appearance or a slight personality difference. It's going to be a great week of seeking for other's strong points and learning how to be strengthed by our weaknesses.

The powerverse for this week is: 1Corinthians 3:9 "We work together as partners who belong to God"

Stop Sin in its tracks!

We are continuing with our new series this week Life is a Highway. Last week we learned about the One Way sign and how there is only One Way to get to Heaven. This week we are continuing down the highway and studying the Stop sign. We are going to learn how to stop sin in its tracks.

It is not always easy to do what is right but what is right is worth the hard work in the end. We are going to learn what it means to stop sinning and do what is right and how to do that when you aren't always surrounded by people telling you what the right thing to do is.

This is going to be a great week of encouragement and empowerment to these children to stand up for what they know is right in the word of the Lord.

This weeks power verse is: Daniel 4:27 "Stop sinning and do what is right."

This week we are starting a new curriculum in Kidz Connection called "Life is a Highway." This curriculum is all about the signs of life and following the signs of God. This week is about "One Way" to get to Heaven. That Jesus is the one and only way to spend eternity in Heaven.

We are so excited to start this curriculum this week with all the new graduate and the amazing kids of Kidz Connection. Please be praying along with us that God is opening their minds and hearts to His presence and Spirit.

The Power Verse for this week is: John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life, no one gets to father except through me."
