Water Baptism

This week we are talking about water baptism!! We have been having a blast in Kidz Connection these past few weeks and will certainly have a great time this week.

Some of the Kids may have been baptized but there are many that haven't. We are going to talk about why we get baptized and what it means and what happens after we get dry. We have a special guest on our eyewitness investigation show, he is John the Baptist, and he's going to come by to share with us about his baptism experiences.

Our verse for this week is John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command."

Faith Case Investigation ~ Salvation

Parents,

This week in Kidz Connection we are investigating Salvation!! This is going to be a big week in so many ways, We ask that you would please be praying with and for your children for this service, as we are going to talk about the Salvation that we are offered in Christ.

There is going to be a special guest appearance by Nicodemus (don't tell the kids it's going to be a surprise) and some other really awesome object lessons to show God's forgiveness and our need for Him to be the center of our lives.

The memory verse for this week is:
"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Hey Everyone!!

This week in Kidz Connection we are studying the Trinity. We are learning about the three parts of God, what they do and why they are important. This is going to be a fun week continuing with Faith Case Investigation.

The Memory Verse for this week is Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one."

Remember that if you children say this verse when they come to the table on Sunday morning they will receive 1$ in Linkage Loot and if they bring their Bible they will receive 5$ and a friend they and their friend will receive 10$ each!!!!!

Awesome things are happening in Kidz Connection!! We have started a new curriculum called Faith Case, and we are investigating the 16 fundamental truths of the Assemblies of God. We are learning why we believe what we believe. This week we are talking about the One True God.

This is going to be an awesome week learning how God proves Himself to be the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and how there is no one else that even comes close to Him.

Our verse for this week is Isaiah 45:21 "There is no God apart from me, a righteous God a Savior; there is none but me."

I just want to take a moment and you remind you that Valentine's day is coming up fast!
The girl's ministry is going to be going to a nursing home Saturday February 13th and they are taking valentine's into the residents. Pastor Donovan and I thought this would great to ask the Kidz Connection kids to make valentine's for the girls to take to the nursing home.

We are asking they be generic (not addressed to anyone) They can be colored, cut out pasted however you would like to share some love this valentine's day.

We are also asking that they be turned into to either, Pastor Donovan or Pastor Sarah no later than Wednesday February 10.
