I apologize for having not posted in a few weeks. I want to let you know what is coming up in Kidz Connection.

This week we are going to be focusing on Christmas and the Reason for the Season

Dec. 11 is the Kids Christmas Musical at 11am! We are so proud and excited to see everything come together

Dec 18 we are going to be introducing the fast and talking about the power in fasting and giving God our firsts

Dec 25 is Christmas and we will all be together in the Sanctuary for the 11 am service. Your kids are invited to come in their pajamas!!!

We are going into week 4 of Sticky! An Awesome series about some people in the Bible who got themselves into Stick Situations!! This week we are studying the "Worry Wart" Martha. It's going to be an awesome Sunday full of surprises and an great morning of worship sitting at the feet of Jesus. You DO NOT want your children to miss this service.

Oh and don't forget this week is halfway through the sticky competition to duct tape pastor sarah to the wall. Help your kids be creative in raising money for the Africa Oasis project for clean water wells in Africa!!!

This is the final week for Victory in Kidz Connection. It's going to be an incredible final week going through the ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL BATTLE. The battle of Jesus vs. Satan.

We have been having a blast going through the battles of the Old Testament and wearing our camo. It's been great to see how God always has his hand in everything even when things seem so bleak. Thank you for your committment to having your children in Kidz Connection. We love them and they are wonderful blessings.

We are almost to the end of our series called "Victory"

We are pressing into the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal.

This week is going to be unlike any other in Kidz Connection with an unbelievable object lesson and kid run skit, along with games, worship and of course Candy! :)

The points for this week are:

1: When I pray, I know God hears me

2. Nothing is Too Difficult for God

3. Our God is THE God

This week in Kidz Connection we are learning about obedience through the foot steps of Gideon! This is going to be a great week as we will be focusing on defeating the enemy and standing firm in God's word and how He leads us. This is going to be an awesome week so don't miss out!!

Hey Parents,

We are in week four of our series called VICTORY! This has been an awesome series going through the battle of the Old Testament and how they apply to our everyday life.

This week our lesson is about taking revenge on those who hurt us and how that is not a part of God's plan. This is going to be an awesome service as we study the in the Word out of Romans 12:17 "Never pay back evil with evil to anyone" This is going to be a great lesson for your kids. We can't wait to see everyone on Sunday morning at 9 and 11 am.

Oh, and don't forget that if you kids come to Kidz Connection wearing any kind of camo they will receive a prize!

Hey Parents!
We are going through an awesome series right now called "In the Show" It's a super fun and exciting game show with a crazy game show host named Polka - Dot. He is crazy with a funny accent but he is helping the kids to see that God has all the answers and is always ready to answer the phone. In this week we are going to learn how the Holy Spirit knows us better than anyone else and wants to be a part of our every day life!

This is going to be an incredible Sunday with lots of laughs and learning God's Word.

Last week, moving into this week and leading into Easter we have been talking about Jesus' life and what He has gone through along with some of the lessons He teaches in His word. We are so excited to share with you the message for this week in Kidz Connection during our series called POWERED UP!!

This week we are talking about being satisfied with Jesus. This week is about how we can search and search to quench that thirst but the only one who will satisfy is the Lord Jesus.

This week we are starting a new series called "Powered Up" It's going to be a two month series that is going to teach our kids about a personal relationship with Christ. We hear those words but what does that really mean to a kid? It means, read your Bible, Pray and go to church which are all good things and absolutely the right answers. However, this series is going to break those answers down even further and really give kids a tangible way to grow their relationship with Christ.
This week's message is on being "Plugged In"
You have to make sure you are attached to the power source before you can draw any power and in the same way we have to make sure we have Jesus in our hearts before we can grow in Him. This is going to be a great back to the basics understand of who Christ is and why we serve Him.

I am so excited to share with you this week's message in Kidz Connection. As you know we have been talking about Paul and how God sees the big picture. God shows us pieces one at a time and we have to follow the pieces that He shows us. Last week we talked about how Satan tries to through some pieces into the puzzle too and we need have discernment. This week we are talking about having confidence in the God in us. We are going to be studying the text from Acts Chapter 16 on Paul and Silas. We aren't going to just focus on the story of them being put into jail but we are going to focus on the part of the story on how they were even through into jail. This is going to be an awesome message as we learn that we need to have BOLDNESS in our God, FEARLESSNESS even in the darkest of moments and COURAGE even when the easiest decision is to run.

I can't wait for this Sunday morning and you are not going to want your kids to miss this opportunity to worship together in God's presence!

Last week we started our series called Pixelated and it was awesome! Pastor Donovan preached an incredible message on Saul and his transformation!

This week we are pressing into Acts chapter 13 as we look at Paul and Barnabas off on their first missionary journey. They encounter many different people and situations where they need to let God speak for them and walk on the path that the Lord leads them.

We are starting a new series this week called PIXELATED! This is a series about the big picture. God sees the big picture and shows us pieces as we need to see them.

We are going to spend the month of February going through the life of Paul from his transformation to the different men that he traveled and ministered with.

This is going to be an action packed, intense God speaking series that you are not going to want your children to miss!!

We are winding down our series on Daniel with one final week after this coming Sunday and it has been incredible. Your children have been learning about the life of Daniel and his integrity. We have been focusing on what it means to press in to God and how God rewards and reveals to us when we press into Him.

It has been awesome to see your kids grow in the Lord and see them press into His presence. As well as be challenged and TAKE THE CHALLENGE to "Do Hard Things" even when the world shows us an easier path.

This week we are going to be talking about the writing on the wall at Belshazzar's party. It's going to be a great week and an exciting end to the Daniel fast.

We are going to be talking about the fiery furnace this week and how the Lord covers and protects us even though we may still have to go through the fire He goes with us.

We are so excited to share with you that we are in our second week talking about Daniel in Kidz Connection. We are in a series called "Do Hard Things" It talks about doing the things that aren't always accepted by the world we live in, just like Daniel had to do. He had to pray when he was told not to, and he had to focus on God when everyone else was telling him to bow down to the statue. It's not always easy to focus on God but like we are going to learn from Daniel this week because he focused and listened to the Lord he was able to share with the king his dream and the interpretation. God could use him in high places because he went against the grain and kept his eyes on the Lord.
We are challenging the kids to keep their eyes and ears on the Lord as He has great plans for their lives and wants to use them to further His kingdom.
