Parents,

This week we are starting a new series called "Powered Up" It's going to be a two month series that is going to teach our kids about a personal relationship with Christ. We hear those words but what does that really mean to a kid? It means, read your Bible, Pray and go to church which are all good things and absolutely the right answers. However, this series is going to break those answers down even further and really give kids a tangible way to grow their relationship with Christ.
This week's message is on being "Plugged In"
You have to make sure you are attached to the power source before you can draw any power and in the same way we have to make sure we have Jesus in our hearts before we can grow in Him. This is going to be a great back to the basics understand of who Christ is and why we serve Him.

Big things are happening in Kidz Connection! We are finishing up our series on Pixelated this week where we are going to make one final look at Paul's life. We are going to learn about his sermon on Mars Hill and what it means to sometimes be out numbered in this world as a Christian. This is going to be an awesome sermon brought by Pastor Donovan!

I am so excited to share with you this week's message in Kidz Connection. As you know we have been talking about Paul and how God sees the big picture. God shows us pieces one at a time and we have to follow the pieces that He shows us. Last week we talked about how Satan tries to through some pieces into the puzzle too and we need have discernment. This week we are talking about having confidence in the God in us. We are going to be studying the text from Acts Chapter 16 on Paul and Silas. We aren't going to just focus on the story of them being put into jail but we are going to focus on the part of the story on how they were even through into jail. This is going to be an awesome message as we learn that we need to have BOLDNESS in our God, FEARLESSNESS even in the darkest of moments and COURAGE even when the easiest decision is to run.

I can't wait for this Sunday morning and you are not going to want your kids to miss this opportunity to worship together in God's presence!

Last week we started our series called Pixelated and it was awesome! Pastor Donovan preached an incredible message on Saul and his transformation!

This week we are pressing into Acts chapter 13 as we look at Paul and Barnabas off on their first missionary journey. They encounter many different people and situations where they need to let God speak for them and walk on the path that the Lord leads them.

This week is titled "The fork in the road" a service you are not going to want your children to miss!!

We are going to spend the month of February going through the life of Paul from his transformation to the different men that he traveled and ministered with.
